Mohammad Maqbool is a Chartered Accountant from England & Wales, Canada, and Pakistan. He is also fellow member of Chartered Institute of Public Finance Accountancy (CIPFA) UK. He has extensive accountancy practice experience as a senior partner in various Chartered Accountants firms. He is serving as Council Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) for term 2022-26 and is Chairman of Education & Training Committee. He was the President of the Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA) in 1995 and 2015. He served as a co-opted council member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance Accountants (CIPFA) UK for the term 2016-21.Recently he is co-opted as a council member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales from South Asia for term 2023-25. He is Dean of School of Accountancy of the University of Lahore since July, 2002. He is also a non-executive director of Bata Pakistan Limited.
